Scholarships

Our mission is to raise money for and make contributions to various educational scholarship funds that have been created in Trent’s name. In this way, his spirit and dedication to education, team, and friendship becomes a legacy of hope and change for others.

  • Trent DiGiuro Memorial Scholarship

    The Trent DiGiuro Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a University of Kentucky walk on football player who exemplifies Trent’s determination and tenacity. Requirements include:

    ~two years in the program

    ~a 2.5 GPA

    ~the player is not currently on a scholarship

    In the event that a player cannot receive the award because of NCAA scholarship limitations, the scholarship is awarded to a trainer or manager within the football program. The recipient is selected by the University of Kentucky football coach.

  • Trent DiGiuro Student-Athlete Scholarship

    The Trent DiGiuro Student-Athlete Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at each of the high schools in Oldham County, Kentucky. These include Oldham County High School, South Oldham High School, and North Oldham High School. Criteria for selection include:

    ~participation in a varsity sport or cheerleading

    ~a 3.0 GPA

    ~participation in activities that exemplify Trent’s dedication to school and team

    The recipients are selected by the Oldham County Community Scholars.
